Situation
In a competition procedure, Heitzig Consult was identified as the best provider and commissioned. The mandate should ultimately include the maximum optimisation of the overall ICT costs while at the same time increasing performance in the MM-Holz Group.
Objective
Conclusion of new framework contracts with improved commercial and technical parameters for all commissioned trades at home and abroad.
Central challenge
Heterogeneous and complex contract situations within the group structure MM-Holz and MM-Forst had to be taken into account on the one hand, as well as the different requirements of the department on the other.
Approach
The data network was initially subjected to a complete traffic current analysis, vulnerabilities and performance impairments were analyzed and completely redesigned in accordance with the new requirements. Total mobile communications were redesigned, advertised and ultimately optimized at the user level. In the fixed-line network, a change of provider took place in some locations and was ultimately consolidated and also optimized in bundling a global tender process.
