Initial situation
The existing telecommunication systems operated by the thyssenkrupp Presta sites in Eschen and Oberegg (Liechtenstein) had reached their end of life. Secure operations for approximately 2,600 participants could no longer be guaranteed in the medium run.
Goals
- optimization of the performance, quality and costs of TC services
- significant reduction of present IT resources by means of Managed Services
- flexibility in order to reflect organizational changes
- procurement of a needs-based solution according to the requirements profile
Main challenge
The main emphasis of the project was on achieving and evaluating set goals according to the client's requirements and aligning them with existing Group-wide solutions.
Problem-solving approach
A solution for the best product ultimately emerged and fully met the requirements formulated by thyssenkrupp Presta. After the final negotiations had been concluded, the project proved to be very successful from a business point of view as well.
