Initial situation
DB Schenker has more than 1000 SIM cards in use in Austria. Provider costs for voice and data are a significant cost block.
Goals
In order to achieve an optimal new solution in the area of provider contract mobile communications, the expertise of heitzig should be used. The aim is to reduce costs without compromising on other areas.
Main challenge
Communication security is critical for a globally networked company such as DB Schenker. Compromises or compromises in quality and safety could not be accepted in any way. At the same time, however, the total provider costs for mobile telephony should be reduced sustainably.
Problem-solving approach
On the basis of a precise customer briefing and a detailed as-is-inventory survey, a new tariff concept was developed that optimally met the requirements of DB Schenker and at the same time allowed significantly lower costs.
